About Studio D Dance 

 Debbie has been Dancing for over 35 years.

 

 Trained in a variety of styles including , Classical Ballet, Tap, Modern, Jazz and Contemporary as well as exploring over the years Ballroom, Latin and even Bellydancing.  

 

Over the last 35 years Debbie has been a successful competitor in Festivals, Performed  in Dance shows, and also  consistently achieved high marks in all her  Dance exams.  

 

' I really wanted to get into Teaching Dance.   I discovered  the IDTA Freestyle qualification  and having done exams with IDTA in the past I was familar with the organisation and its structure.  I studied with Dance Train an organisation based in London and I felt that  by doing the Freestyle qualification  it offered me  so much creative freedom.  

 

I am pleased to say that I achieved   my Teaching qualification ' IDTA Freestyle Associate'  with the grade of Distinction'

 

I am commited to continuing professional development (CPD) and take several workshops a year and attend Dance events as often as I can.. 

 

 

I currently also teach extra curriculum dance to students in Dereham Neatherd High School

Royal Ballet Nutcracker Rose Fairy dance of the flowers taught by first solosist Clare Calvert hosted by En Avant Ballet

 

Flashdance the musical masterclass with assistant choreographer Gary Lee he studied at Urdang Academy and has a impressive CV of Dance experience he has been in productions such as Starlight Express and played Jordan in Dirty Dancing.  

 

Commerical class with top choreographer  Nazene Danielles her CV includes several West End productions she has chorerographed for music videos, TV credits such as Got to Dance and Dance Mums series 1.. she is an all round performer and runs her own Dance studio in Liverpool.. 

 

DDMIX a new style of Dance fitness which was developed by Darcey Bussell ex Royal Ballet Principal 

 

Move it Dance convention held in London every year workshops are taught by world wide known professional Dancers, Choreographers and top Dance Colleges.

 

Pineapple Dance studios Covent Garden several workshops have included Contemporary ,Ballet, Commerical and Tap taught by top Teachers such as Kane D Ricca ( tap ) Aleta Thompson ( commerical) Michael Branwell ( ballet) 

 

 

Dance can be enjoyed by all levels you do not need to have any prior experience and anybody can Dance.  

 

All abilities are most welcome and we pride ourselves on being an all inclusive Studio.
